2. Common After-Sales Scenarios
Scenario Type
Resolution
Grading errors or card damage caused during the grading process
For counterfeit cards slabbed, card damage during grading, or misidentification of unofficial celebrity photo cards as authentic: Based on the received video evidence, return the problematic card to the grading party for verification. Once confirmed as the grading party's responsibility, we will compensate based on the card's current market value or provide a card of equivalent quality. The problematic card will be reclaimed by the grading party to prevent re-entry into the market.
Label errors, slab encapsulation issues
Once verified, return the problematic card to BCTC for re-slabbing and correction. Return shipping costs will be covered by the grading party. (For non-grading party responsibility, such as client's subjective desire to re-slab or change to a new label style, reslabbing/label change fees and shipping costs apply.)
Overtime compensation (excluding force majeure, special events)
1-5 business days overtime: entire order free; over 5 business days overtime: double compensation. Compensated amount is credited to account balance, non-withdrawable, for future grading use only.
Note: Card damage caused by violent self-removal from the slab is not eligible for after-sales service.
